Mill City Museum

Mill City Museum is a Minnesota Historical Society museum in Minneapolis. It opened in 2003 built in the ruins of the Washburn “A” Mill next to Mill Ruins Park on the banks of the Mississippi River. The museum focuses on the history of Minneapolis, particularly its origins as a flour milling center in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Visitors can explore the historic mill ruins, learn about the various technologies and innovations that made Minneapolis a leader in the flour industry, and discover the impact of the industry on the city and its residents. The museum offers interactive exhibits, guided tours, and educational programs for all ages, making it a popular destination for both tourists and locals.
