-Health officials say it’s possible to contract or spread the virus with from contact with contaminated surfaces or objects.
-Just because there may be no visible signs or symptoms of the virus, that doesn’t mean the virus isn’t there. Health officials believe it’s possible infected people could have, and spread the virus before they themselves are symptomatic.
General Safe Practices for your employees and their workplace
-Officials recommend washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
-If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
-The CDC recommends routinely cleaning all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs.
-Provide disposable wipes so that commonly used surfaces (for example, doorknobs, keyboards, remote controls, desks) can be wiped down by employees before each use.
